Your brain, goals and the bigger picture
We have a dominant hand connected to a brain and this grab mechanism is how we interact with our environment and satisfy our needs
We also have other senses and aside from safety, there is an unknown cost to what we focus on
When you choose something from your environment it is at the exclusion of everything else
We choose based on needs, clarity and ideally being informed
When you are hungry you look for food - simple
When you have no goals, or very vague ones, there is no clear way to achieve them as you simply do not know what you are looking for, what to do, or what progress looks like
This is why many stay stuck
Getting in shape, toning up, losing some weight and getting fit are very loose goals and too abstract for your grab mechanism and attention to do much with them - they lack a target
When you are specific you create a clear path from where you are, to where you would like to be and once you have both of these a path can be travelled
Sit with your goals and give them more life than some abstract dream or hope and watch how you feel fired up to achieve them as you can see them, feel them and become them
